 Health is actually defined as the physical,mental, social and spiritual well-being of a person who isfree from any disease proforma."psychologically health is altered by the state of mind .If you think youare ill then you are ill If you think you got a headache, you got a headache. Mind does has an important role to play in our health, but matters too are needed to maintain health. So mind, body and soul are three entities that makes a man.

"A healthy mind helps the body even in crisis situations."

The biological model says, the five senses signal the brain and brain responds with orders to act orreact, like or dislike, flee or fight. The senses are thought vulnerable to loss or decline from injury ,palsy, side effects of drugs and certain kinds of behaviour such as smoking cure for impairment lies within humanity's reach.

Healing begins with re-orienting one's thinking from the material to the spiritual view of life. Our mind has truly awesome powers, not only in making sick or unhappy but also making us healthy and happy.As it is said;

"A healthy mind helps make a healthy body."

It is like a powerful weapon and it is up to us in which way we want to use it. Our mind power is the ultimate source of our success. Modern psychology tells us that our mind power can continue to grow into old age. Modern research has clearly proved that power of brain can increase our entire potential.All human activities spread over the entire life-span are governed by the mind.

According to an English proverb, "A healthy mind resides in a healthy body." Even if the body is not healthy the effect of this condition is not the permanent. Feelings of depression and weakness growinto a disease syndrome only when they prolong and rooted in thoughts and feelings for a long time.Unlike an ordinary ailment, which requires a simple cure, this mental syndrome is difficult to remedy.It requires great effort and determination. Mental depression is like an infectious disease and must not be allowed to take deep roots in the mind. A person with spiritual bent finds happiness and pleasure in ever situation. Hence, negative feelings of self pity, defeat, and inferiority should be set aside and one should try to be optimist and active and keep himself engaged in positive pursuits. If the mind is unhealthy thoughts, the body, too, escape their deleterious effects.

"The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well."

Healthy mind is the foundation of physical well-being. Many bodily ailments have mental and psychological origin. Hence, mental health is imperative for physical health. With a proper mind set, apoor man can still be happy. Conversely, if the mind set is not right, no matter how much material possessions you may have, you may still be a very unhappy person. Thus Gandhi said

"The world is enough for everyone's needs, but not enough for even a single person's greed."

So, a healthy mind is one that possesses a mind set that can lead to happiness and contentment with self and the world around us. So, it is truly said by Mark Baker Eddy,"Health is not the condition of matter, but of mind; nor can the material senses bear reliable testimony on the subject of health."The mind body approach is the path to the genuine sense of well-being that defines health. You willneed  to sort through all the information. The benefits of using the mind-body approach to health are not hypothetical. The evidence is clear : scientific research shows  that mind is the most powerful tool for health. If you are really concerned about your health, it's to start changing your mind.
